Rosa & Mel is a series of artworks created by Mayara Moraes. The project was developed to explore romantic narratives of sapphic love, centering Black women as its protagonists.

The visual concept establishes pink as the starting point of the compositions, representing romance, delicacy, and the artist's favorite color, while the visual use of honey symbolizes the characters' melanin and inner light. Together, these elements create a powerful aesthetic that fosters recognition and representation within the community.
